Luke 5:18

And behold, men brought in a bed a man who was taken with the palsy: and they sought [means] to bring him in, and to lay [him] before him.

And when they could not find by what [way] they might bring him in, because of the multitude, they went upon the house-top, and let him down through the tiling with [his] couch, into the midst before Jesus.

Luke 5:20

And when he saw their faith, he said to him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Luke 5:21

Luke 5:22

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering, said to them, What reason ye in your hearts?

Luke 5:23

Which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Rise and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, He said to the sick with the palsy, I say to thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thy house.
